Apartment security for communities, condos, townhomes or high rise apartments is critical for a satisfactory living experience.  Multi unit properties can also create areas of opportunity for crime.

Providing a safe environment to protect the residents, visitors, employees and staff from criminal acts can be a daunting challenge even for the most experienced property manager.  Properties that lie within high crime areas of a city can find managing apartment security to be nearly overwhelming. LPT Security Consulting has developed a highly unique crime prevention program for multi-family properties called Project CARE (Community Awareness, Response & Education).

Project CARE was developed primarily for at-risk apartment communities that are experiencing and increased amount of criminal activity on property and that are threatened by the level of crime in the surrounding area.  We work with Property Management Companies in the following areas:

1. A security assessment is conducted to understand the current state of physical security, lighting and policy and procedures.

2. A review is conducted of the courtesy officer program or contract security program.

3. Training is provided to assist managers in creating community-centric crime awareness programs.

4. Our services are offered for up to a year after initiation to assist in the implementation of a total security plan.
